In Lab Polysomnography
In an in-lab sleep study you will be required to stay overnight at our sleep centre.
- In a home sleep study, our technician will come to your home and set up the sleep study. The patient is able to spend the night in the patient’s own bed in familiar surroundings.
- A home sleep study can be advantageous to the home-bound, elderly, or those with chronic illness, who require specialized care such as a nurse or family member spending the night with the patient.
In Lab Polysomnography (Level 1 - Sleep Study)
This is a detailed sleep test done overnight at our sleep center. You’ll stay in a comfortable, private room while our team attaches small sensors to your body to monitor your brain waves, breathing, heart rate, oxygen levels, and body movements as you sleep. A trained technician is present all night to ensure everything goes smoothly and to answer any questions.
